How to test
- Place the pointer inside the test area.
- Rotate the thumb wheel or tilt the main wheel left and right.
- Confirm that the left and right arrows and counters respond independently.

Why is no horizontal event detected?
Check the mouse driver and button assignment first. Some utilities convert the side wheel into keyboard shortcuts instead of a browser wheel event.
Can Shift plus the normal wheel be tested?
Some browsers and operating systems translate Shift plus vertical scrolling into horizontal scrolling, so the Delta X counter may respond.
